About Amanda

A calm, supportive approach to meaningful change

I’m Amanda, a Clinical Hypnotherapist with over 20 years of experience in education and leadership and more than 11 years of teaching yoga.

My approach is warm, personal and centred around you, your goals and the changes you’d like to make.

Meet Amanda

I'm Amanda, and I'm so glad you're here.

Reaching out for support can feel like one of the hardest things to do. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, stress, low confidence, unwanted habits, overwhelming emotions or simply feeling stuck, taking that first step towards support can be incredibly important.

My role is to offer you a calm, confidential and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood and comfortable being yourself.

For over 20 years, I worked in education and special educational needs, supporting children, families and colleagues through both everyday challenges and life’s more difficult moments.

Over time, I discovered that some of the greatest differences could be made through genuine human connection, compassionate listening and helping people recognise their own strengths.

Those experiences inspired me to retrain as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, allowing me to focus on helping people work towards meaningful and positive change.

My Approach

I believe that every person has the potential for change. Sometimes that potential can become buried beneath worry, self-doubt, stress or difficult experiences. Hypnotherapy can provide a calm and focused space to explore new perspectives and work towards healthier patterns and greater confidence. No two clients are the same, so no two sessions are exactly the same. Everything we work on is tailored to you, your goals and your individual circumstances, with your comfort and wellbeing at the heart of the process.

Yoga & Wellbeing

A lifelong interest in wellbeing Alongside my work in hypnotherapy, yoga and meditation have been an important part of my own life for many years. I've been teaching yoga for over 11 years, and this experience has deepened my understanding of the relationship between our minds, bodies and overall wellbeing. I bring this wider perspective into my approach, creating a space that feels calm, welcoming and supportive.

Professional Background

My journey into hypnotherapy has grown from more than two decades of working with people. My experience in education and leadership, including working within special educational needs, taught me the importance of listening carefully, understanding individual circumstances and meeting people with compassion. Retraining as a Clinical Hypnotherapist was a natural progression for me — allowing me to build on those experiences while focusing on helping people create meaningful change in their lives. I'm also committed to lifelong learning and continuing to develop my professional knowledge.
